Search

Put your search box on the right side of your page.  Most people look for it there.  Also, use standard call to action words for search buttons, such as “Search”.  Yes, some companies thought substituting other related words related to their business is cute, but it throws people off who expect the search button to indicate the word “Search”.  Of course, also ensure that your search filters are working properly.  It also turns off customers if your left-hand search box always yields “no results found”.
